Is there a messages encoded with that number in the events of that day?
By John Henry

Psalm 11:3 - 7

"If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do? The LORD is in his holy temple, the LORD'S throne is in heaven: his eyes behold, his eyelids try, the children of men. The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth. Upon the wicked he shall rain snares, fire and brimstone, and an horrible tempest: this shall be the portion of their cup. For the righteous LORD loveth righteousness; his countenance doth behold the upright."

In his book, Number In Scripture, E. W. Bullinger logically and convincingly shows that numbers have specific meanings. For example, he uses the 10 commandments, tithing, the 10 plagues, 10 virgins, 10 parables of the Kingdom in Matthew, and 20 other examples to show that the number ten (10) "signifies the perfection of Divine order" (pp. 243 - 250). Likewise he shows that 12 signifies "governmental perfection" using examples of the 12 tribes of Israel, the 12 apostles and 7 other examples (pp. 253 - 255).

On page 251 Bullinger says, "If 10 is the number which marks the perfection of DIVINE ORDER, then 11 is an addition to it, subversive of and undoing that order. If 12 is the number which marks the perfection of DIVINE GOVERNMENT, then 11 falls short of it. So that whether we regard it as being 10 + 1, or 12 - 1, it is the number which marks disorder, disorganization, imperfection, and disintegration." Bullinger gives several examples for the number 11, among them:

* The 11 dukes of Edom (Gen 36:40-43)
who were related to Israel, but different in
government and order.

* The 12 sons of Jacob minus Joseph ("one is
not" - Gen 42:13, 32) without whom the other
11 would not have survived.

* Evil kings Jehoiakim (2 Chron 36:5-6) and
Zedekiah (Jer 52:1-7) both reigned 11 years
before Nebuchadrezzar carried them away
into captivity.

* It was in the 11th year of the Babylonian
captivity that Ezekiel prophesied of the fall
of Tyrus, (Ezek 26:1-5) and Egypt (Ezek

Now note the number 11 as it applies to the terrorist attacks of September 11th:

* The date of the attack: 9/11 = 9 + 1 + 1 = 11

* September 11th is the 254th day of the year:
2 + 5 + 4 = 11

* After September 11th there are 111 days left
to the end of the year.

* The Twin Towers standing side by side look
like the number 11

* The first plane to hit the towers was Flight 11

* Flight 11 had 92 on board: 9 + 2 = 11

* Flight 77 had 65 on board: 6 + 5 = 11

* The State of New York was the 11 State
added to the Union

* New York City - 11 Letters

* Afghanistan - 11 Letters

* The Pentagon - 11 Letters

* Ramzi Yousef - 11 Letters (convicted for
orchestrating the 1993 attack on WTC)

* 119 is the area code to Iraq / Iran -
1 + 1 + 9 = 11

* 911 is the number to call in case of
emergency - 9 + 1 + 1 = 11

Is this just coincidence or is it of human design? Or is God telling our Nation that the abandonment of Him and His Word have caused us to fall short of our former "governmental perfection". Is God telling the believers of our Country that we are out of order? Is our Nation in disintegration because of our failure to recognize "Divine order"? Is the handwriting on the wall (Daniel 5) or is there still time to obey 2 Chronicles 7:14?

"If My people, which are called by My name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." (2 Chron 7:14)

Are our Nation's days are numbered? They might be! Why? Because America is / has:

1) Abandoned it's Biblical foundation and has endorsed Ecumenicalism and Humanism as the State religion while at the same time it has begun to persecute the true church.

2) Aiding and abetting Israel's enemies, who are also our enemies, and the worlds.

3) Embracing the morally and spiritually corrupt U.N. which has Antichrist / New Age / NWO objectives.

4) Endorsed and promoted abortion, homosexuality, pornography etc.

By allowing these things Americans and our Government have fallen far short of God's requirement for government (2 Sam 23:3, Rom 13:1-5), and most certainly have subverted God's order (Psalm 119:133) falling headlong into disorder, disorganization, and disintegration.

Might our once Great Nation be likened unto fallen Tyrus and the evil King Zedekiah who went into captivity? Or will God help America, in spite of herself, as he did the 11 brothers of Joseph? God knows.

Albeit we do know from the Bible that God will save every individual who will turn to Him in repentance and faith.

"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. ... And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. ... For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God." (John 1:1-4, 14, 3:16-21)

"He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. ... He that hath received his testimony hath set to his seal that God is true. For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him. The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand. He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him." (John 1:11-13, 3:33-36)
