Sizemore, Wiley - private June 20, 1862 . Roll for February 1865, last on file, shows him in Columbus, Ga. hospital. Paroled there April 1865 . (Born in S. C. in 1820.) { Sizemore Genealogy }  [ Microfilm number M226 roll 55, listed as W.Sizemore ]  Service further documented in Pension records, Marion County GA, and widow's pension for wife, Mary Askew Sizemore.  In an affidavit dated 24-Jun-1908, three witnesses attest that Mary Sizemore is the widow of Wiley Sizemore who died on 18-Feb-1908.  Her widow's affidavit dated 10-May-1908 and application dated 13-Mar-1908 confirms the same date of death for Wiley.  Wiley Sizemore applied for the Indigent Soldier's Pension each year from 1897 through 1907. Death date and place unknown for Mary.
