Denominational Particulars:

 I am a lifelong member of the the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (nicknamed the "Mormons").

Education:

• 1989-1991  I fulfilled an LDS mission to Iowa. (Now, that was an education!)
• 1994  I graduated magna cum laude from Brigham Young University with a major in geology and minors in chemistry and philosophy.
• 1994-1999  I earned a Ph.D. in geochemistry at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
• 2000-present  I am a Research Associate at the University of Colorado at Boulder.

 

Future plans:

I will continue my career in either academics or industrial research.  I suppose I'll keep my wife and two children (I rather like them), and I'll try to keep up my hobby of being the webmaster of Barry's Early Christianity and Mormonism Page. Wherever I end up, I hope to serve the Lord in His Restored Church.
